1. What this site is

SamayBot ("this project", "we", "the site") is an independent, non-commercial fan project that lets visitors chat with an AI character built to imitate the public comedic persona of Samay Raina, for parody and entertainment purposes. It is a tribute made by a fan, using publicly available clips of his comedy and streams as raw material for the imitation — nothing more. The chat is invite-only: the operator creates accounts, there is no public sign-up, and you need to be signed in to talk to the bot (see section 7).

2. No affiliation or endorsement

This project has no connection to Samay Raina, his management, India's Got Latent, Netflix, or any of their partners, sponsors, or affiliated brands. It is not authorised, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by any of them in any way. Any names, likenesses, or trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the subject of the parody, not to claim any association with them.

3. Source material

Everything used to build the bot's voice was sourced exclusively from content that was already publicly available online — public YouTube videos, livestreams, and interviews — accessed the same way any viewer would, through ordinary public channels. No private, paywalled, leaked, or otherwise non-public material was used at any stage. That public material was processed with standard, publicly documented technical methods (automated transcription, speech-to-text, and language-model analysis) purely to learn a speaking style — not to republish or redistribute the original recordings themselves.

4. It's an AI, not him

Every reply you see is generated on the fly by an AI language model. It is a machine's best guess at a comedic voice, nothing more. Replies are not real quotes, opinions, endorsements, or statements of fact from the real Samay Raina or anyone else, and should never be treated, screenshotted, or shared as if they were. The AI can be wrong, say something out of character, or produce content that doesn't reflect anyone's actual views — including the real Samay Raina's.

5. Content & audience

This is a comedy/roast bot aimed at an adult sense of humour. It may use mild profanity and edgy jokes; a "family" mode is on by default to keep language clean. The project does not generate content involving tragedy, disability, minors, or protected groups as the target of a joke, and takes reports about anything that slips through seriously (see contact below).

6. No intent to harm or infringe

This project is made for fun, by a fan, with no intention of defaming, harassing, or disparaging Samay Raina or anyone else, and no intention of infringing anyone's copyright, trademark, personality rights, or other intellectual property. If you believe otherwise — whether you're Samay Raina, someone who works with him, or a third party with a genuine concern — please reach out (below) before taking any other action. Valid concerns will be reviewed promptly, and content will be corrected, taken down, or the site adjusted as appropriate.

7. Your conversations

SamayBot is invite-only. The operator creates your account and stores: your email, a salted password hash (never the password), your login sessions (time, IP address, browser string) and your conversations with the bot. The operator can read conversations to review quality and safety. Messages are also sent in real time to a third-party AI provider to generate the reply. Data is kept until your account is deleted — ask via the contact below and it is removed, conversations included. Don't share personal, sensitive or confidential information in the chat.

8. No warranty

This site and its AI output are provided "as is", for entertainment only, with no warranty of any kind — including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything an AI character says here.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time as the project evolves; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
